Rights

"Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God. For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death. But now we are released from the law, having died to that which held us captive, so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code." Romans 7:4-6 ESV

Just a reminder that our flesh is dead, and we have taken in the Holy Spirit that controls our minds and bodies. Do you listen to the Holy thoughts that come in your mind? Help that person on the side of the road... Witness to the lady in the grocery store right now... Or does the flesh voice seem louder? That guy is probably a psycho, and drunk... How uncomfortable would talking to that stranger be, my witness sucks anyway.

Guys we don't have a say in the matter. We have died to what held us captive! We are commanded to serve the Holy Spirit that lives inside of all of us. Let's serve guys, push yourself and get the Word and witness to everyone. Get a little weird, it's okay. Watch the doors God will open to you when you take that step of faith.
