Matthew 4:7 "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' (Deuteronomy) 6:16"
Sometimes I will take a step forward in faith and say "Okay God you see me taking this step now you need to bless me for my obedience". Hhhhmmmm, it just doesn't sound right when I step back and look at it. The crazy thing is I continue to think like this. Isn't that the same as testing God? Living by faith shouldn't be a "pay me money" type situation yet so often I make it that way. This is a check for us who think like that.
