Prayer

God delights to hear us and commune with us more than we ever delight to commune with Him. He loved us first and with a greater intensity than we could ever love Him. Our sincere prayer requests allow God the opportunity to more fully reveal all His wonderful attributes to us (cf. John 14:13).

This hit home today for me fellas. I forget how much our Father loves us!!!

That's so true. God loves to hear us when we pray, through we don't do it as often as we should. God talks to us through his Word, the Bible, He talks through ALL 66 books!! But do we ever talk to Him that much? The answer for most of us would sadly be a no. The Bible commands us to 'pray without ceasing', the means constantly! We always need to be in a state of prayer, no matter where we are or what we are doing, always be in a state of prayer. If we were asked how much we pray, what would (truthfully) be the answer, a lot of us it would be before we eat, when we go to church, and when we are in trouble. But, God wants to hear us way more then that!! If we don't have anything to pray about (which we ALWAYS have somebody or something to pray about) just praise God!! We could praise God 24/7 and it still wouldn't be enough time to thank him for all He has done for us!! And the more you read the Bible the more you will find to praise Him about!! :)
